Roy Keane has given an updated opinion on the Premier League title race after Opta’s supercomputer increased Arsenal’s chances by 7.6 percent. Last week, Opta’s supercomputer had made Liverpool the new favorites for the title after they defeated Brighton and Arsenal drew 0-0 with Manchester City. However, after the latest round of games where Liverpool drew 2-2 with Manchester United and Arsenal and Manchester City secured wins, the dynamics have changed. Liverpool’s chances decreased from 45 percent to 31.3 percent, while City’s chances increased from 33.6 percent to 39.7 percent – a rise of 6.1 percent. Arsenal saw the biggest increase in probability, going from 21.4 percent to 29 percent. Keane shared his thoughts on the title race, expressing confidence in Arsenal’s chances. He mentioned that winning league titles is challenging and depends on luck and top players performing well. He indicated that all three teams – Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City – fancy their chances. While Keane previously favored Liverpool, he now leans towards Manchester City due to their experience and squad depth. He predicts that Manchester City will win all their remaining games.
