Stefano Pioli and Milan have received a positive update in their defense ahead of the Europa League quarter-final first leg against Roma. Malick Thiaw, the center-back, has returned to full training with the team. Thiaw missed 74 days due to a heel issue but is now back in contention to play alongside Simon Kjaer. Milan will be without Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu for the upcoming match. If Thiaw is not fit to start, Matteo Gabbia is likely to partner with Kjaer in defense.
