Francisco Comesana and Ugo Blanchet will be competing for the title of the “Oeiras Open 3” (Challenger 125 – prize money 148,625 euros) on the Portuguese red clay, exclusively broadcasted by SuperTennis. There are no previous matches between the two players.
The Argentine, ranked 115, won a three-set match against Portuguese Jaime Faria, coming back from a set down and claiming victory with a score of 5-7, 7-6(4), 6-0. On Sunday, he will be aiming for his eighth career title, looking to update his trophy cabinet which last saw success on July 31, 2023, when he won the Liberec Challenger by defeating American Kodat in the final.
