Liverpool mira a Ruben Amorim paragonato ad Ange Postecoglou da Pedro Porro | Calcio
Ruben Amorim managed Pedro Porro for two and a half years at Sporting. Tottenham star Porro has praised Amorim and compared him to Ange Postecoglou amid rumors that he could potentially take over as the head coach of Liverpool in the summer.
Amorim, seen as one of the best young managers in European football, has reportedly been Liverpool’s first choice to succeed Jurgen Klopp. Xabi Alonso was initially favored for the job but has since ruled himself out by committing to Bayer Leverkusen. Recent reports suggested that Amorim had been offered a three-year deal with Liverpool, but he denied these rumors and remains focused on Sporting’s season.
Porro, who played under Amorim at Sporting, praised the coach for his ambition and unique approach to the game. Like Amorim, Tottenham also has a clear playing style, creating similarities between the two clubs.
Former teammate Nemanja Matic believes that Amorim would be a great fit for Liverpool and the Premier League. Matic praised Amorim’s understanding of the game and his coaching abilities, expressing his desire to see him succeed in the English top flight.
